Hi all i am a hgv driver and so is my wife Louise and i am ready for retirement but still have four and a half years to go,Louise can then keep me in the manner which she has been accustomed to ha ha fat chance she wants to retire too!!!

Hi i,m a retired Nuclear Power Station engineer and my wifes a retired Shop Manager. Were celebrating our 35th wedding aniversary today. Caravan in storage until 30th Dec then we will spend 2 months at the caravan club site called Lidalia in Newcastleton, Scottish Borders

I'm a 36 year old IT Support Analyst in Primary Schools in Fife, Bonnie (?!?) Scotland who "inherited" 2 kids, 2 cats, a rabbit and a dog - so thought I'd better get a caravan to keep them all amused!

love the job but should really have a career by now, can anyone recommend teaching??

Been away from the PC for a while so just catching up

I'm a Clinical Nurse Specialist in a community alcohol team. Always a good opener when chatting to fellow caravaners on sites. Because one of us almost always has a drink in their hand.

When I retire I'm going to go into private practice and just tour the caravan sites, I'm bound to pick up enough trade to pay for my hobby.

When I was working I used to say that I, "looked after people when they had nowhere to go". At the time I was a Custody Sgt. in the Police so I don't think I was telling porkies.

The Chief Fairy once put on an Insurance proposal form that she was a "Domestic Engineer". She got reminders for years afterwards with that as her occupation!!!

Assistant Headteacher (secondary) and my wife is a nurse. Unfortunately we do not benefit from long summer stays in the van as my wife doesn't get the same holiday entitlement, but we get away wherever/whenever we can - which is quite a lot really!
